Q: How does the Chesed Center client choice online kosher food pantry work?
A: Our food pantry operates like any online store, except instead of using money to shop, you use your points wich are alotted to you based on family size.

Q: What food can I order from the pantry?
A: The food pantry carries many staple food items that you would purchase at your local grocery - and all items have the highest stadard Chasidishe hechsher.

Q: Can I order whatever I want?
A: You get to pick the foods you want up to your points limit. The food at the pantry is divided into categories, such as; protein, grain and produce. Your points are also divided this way to ensure orders are balanced in nutrition.

Q: How do I login to order food?
A: Once you have registered for a food pantry account you will be able to login to the pantry site at BPfood.org with your pantry ID or cell phone number and date of birth.

Q: I don't know my pantry ID, can I still login?
A: Yes, you can still login using your cell phone number that you provided when you registered.

Q: I'm entering my phone number and I still can't login. What should I do?
A: First, make sure you are entering the same cell phone number that you used when registering. Next, make sure you are entering correctly all digits of the phone number, including the area code.

Q: When I try to login to the pantry it says, "This site is blocked, please contact your system administrator". What should I do?
A: Although, our site - like our food - is 100% kosher, often filters may erroneously block the site. If you have a filter on your computer you may want to have your filtering company whiteliste our pantry site so that it does not get blocked.

Q: How often can I place a food order?
A: You can place an order once every month.

Q:When do I place my order?
A: You can place your order anytime during the month. Though, you have to place your order at least two days before the date you want to pick up your order and not more than ten days before that date.

Q:What happens if I miss my order date?
A: If you do not place an order during one month, you will have missed that month. But you can place an order the next month.

Q: I ordered two weeks ago and now I am trying to order again but it won't let me. What can I do?
A: The Chesed Center food pantry allows for once a month ordering. If you already ordered this month you will need to wait until the next month to order again.

Q: Sometimes when I login to the pantry site nothing comes up. What does this mean?
A: Sometimes the site servers are overloaded causing the site not to load. Although this can be very frustrating it does ususally resolve on its own within a minute or two.

Q: I did not use up all my points when I submitted my order and would like to add items now and place another order. Can I do that?
A: Once you submit your order you can no longer go back and add items even if you have not used up all of your points. Make sure to use all your points when you order so that you do not lose out.

Q: I don’t see items that I need. What can I do?
A: Our inventory changes often. If you don't see an item that you have ordered in the past, try logging in the next week as we may still get it in.
